Katye Charette

Katye has held the position of Executive Director of the Maine Chapter of the U.S. Green Building Council since July 2009.  For over ten years prior to joining the Chapter, Katye worked in varying capacities in the architectural and engineering fields always maintaining a focus on environmentally responsible building practices.

A cum laude graduate of Colby College, her aim is to help people stay warm and healthy, save money and conserve the earth’s precious resources.  Katye enjoys organic gardening, vegetarian cooking, hiking and spending time with friends and family, including husband, John, an architect, and son, Owen.
