Program

From aesthetics to stormwater management, site design and landscape are critical to a project’s success.  Using case studies, images and narrative, Kylie S. Mason, RLA, LEED AP of Sebago Technics will present on green site strategies including rain gardens  – what works in Maine, opportunities and challenges of dealing with a sloped site, DEP standards and LEED, aesthetics and density building – and permeable paving – common misconceptions, where and why it works (or doesn’t).

Kylie S. Mason, RLA, LEED AP of Sebago Technics

Kylie joined Sebago Technics in 2005 following a distinguished career in the design/build industry in Colorado Springs, Colorado, where she was the recipient of numerous prestigious design awards.  Since joining Sebago Technics, she has completely transformed our graphic capabilities and continues to lead us in this regard. In addition to her responsibilities as Director of Graphic Communications, Kylie is also a Senior Landscape Architect.  Working on a variety of projects, she primarily oversees large corporate projects in Southern Maine.

About Green Eggs and to Register

Green Eggs is the Chapter’s monthly breakfast forum featuring a speaker and topic relevant to green buildings. Networking and breakfast, featuring a full breakfast – local, organic, creative – prepared by Local Sprouts Cooperative, will take place from 7:30 – 8:00 followed by a 45 minute presentation and a 15 minute question, answer & discussion period. Attendance is limited and pre-registration with payment is recommended. Attendance is $10 for members and $15 for non members.
