Tour a green school on Thursday, November 10, 2011 as part of our series of events celebrating Maine’s green K-12 schools.  The day begins with the Green Schools Symposium, followed by tours of two green schools, culminating at the Salt Institue for Documentary Studies for our Annual Meeting.

Tours will be held in Brunswick and Portland.  Please choose one school to tour so that you can make it to Salt for our Annual Meeting.  Tours will be given by building owners and/or members of the design and construction teams with intimate knowledge of the buildings and their systems.  To tour a green school, please report to the school’s lobby at 3 PM.

Harriet Beecher Stowe Elementary School, 44 McKeen Street, Brunswick, ME

Ocean Avenue Elementary School, 150 Ocean Avenue, Portland, ME (enter on Walton St.)

There is no cost to attend the tour.
