This presentation will focus on applying geothermal technology to commercial and institutional buildings in Maine.  Find out why the U.S. Department of Defense, the U.S. General Services Administration, and the Maine Department of Education are on board and heavily invested in this proven heating/cooling technology.  Understand the different types of geothermal systems and their applications, benefits and challenges.  Learn what the Mid-West and our Canadian neighbors have known for over two decades.  Get the information you need to help your clients consider looking into geothermal. 

Steve Pinette is the Geosciences Division Director with S.W. COLE ENGINEERING. He has worked in hydrogeology and geology for over 25 years. Since 2002, he has conducted geothermal investigations for numerous projects in Maine and other northeastern states. He enjoys bridging the geothermal divide between geologists and mechanical engineers.
