Food from the Heart Food Drive

Recent statistics confirm what many in the community have been telling us – Hunger is at an all-time high across Maine. Results from the annual USDA survey on food insecurity show that more than 200,000 Mainers, including 1 in 4 children, are struggling to access enough nutritious food to live a healthy life.

The Maine Chapter of USGBC and the Maine Interior Design Association are asking:

• Architects
• Engineers
• Contractors
• Interior Designers
• Others

to donate food and/or money to southern Maine food-banks during this great time of need.
We hope to gather your generous donations at Green Eggs on February 1 and between February 13th and 17th at Port City Architecture, 65 Newbury Street, Portland.  Feel free to drop the donations off or somebody will be happy to pick them up if you call or email Spencer at 761-9000 or spencer@portcityarch.com
With every dollar you give, we can provide $8 worth of food.

• A $25 gift feeds a family of 3 for two weeks!
• A $50 gift will feed a child for 3 months!
• A $100 gift provides 488 nutritious meals!
