The addition of a new wing nearly doubles the capacity of the John Mitchell Center, home to USM’s School of Applied Science, Engineering and Technology (ASET).
The new John Mitchell Advanced Technology Wing and renovations allow the college to provide the educational programs, product testing, and related services needed to grow the manufacturing, construction, electronics, and information technology industries in Maine.
The Center now includes additional classroom spaces, testing labs, and computer labs. The existing space has been renovated and all mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and sprinkler systems were updated to conform to new building regulations.
